I believe that together can we positively impact Alaska's future-- in Washington and here at home.

Geographically, we Alaskans live in starkly different environments --from remote bush to urban hub-- diffused across a vast land. Here and now we have the opportunity to communicate our values, establish networks, and cultivate intellectual exchange in order to find common ground. I encourage us all to continue asking tough questions and expressing our issues of concern, while supporting forums where those with different opinions can be heard as well. Only then can the real discussions begin.
